关于2011年12月组织学术型硕士研究生学位英语考试的通知
各学院：
经研究决定，我校将在2011年12月举行硕士学位英语考试，现将有关事项通知如下：
一、考试对象
2009级和2010级全日制学术型硕士研究生未通过硕士学位英语考试者。
二、考试时间
2011年12月24日(周六)，上午笔试，下午口试。
考试安排和地点考前另行通知。
三、考试形式
1、考试形式：笔试（占80%）和口试（占20%）
2、考试题型
笔试：听力（15%）、阅读理解（20%）、翻译（20%）、写作（25%）
口试：
题目以涉及社会、文化、历史、经济、生活等有关的话题。每组口试题为10个，口试topics考前一个月下发给考生准备，口试时由每组考生随机抽取1个topic，考试以5人为一组的小组讨论方式进行，考生自由发言，最后，每位考生用1分钟时间总结自己的观点。考官根据考生小组讨论中的表现评分，考生不能背诵课文式的发表观点，每组考生考试时间在15—20分钟。口试topics附后。
四、报名程序
未通过学位英语考试的研究生填写《2011年12月硕士学位英语考试报名表》（此表可在研究生院网站下载或向所在学院领取），请于12月9日之前将报名表交到研究生院培养办，逾期不候。
五、有关事项
1、请各学院及时把本通知传达到相关研究生，以免错过考试机会。
2、请报名参加考试的研究生认真复习，努力备考，争取顺利通过硕士学位英语考试。
3、2011级学术型硕士研究生不能参加本次考试，修完英语课程学分（一年）后于2012年6月参加学位英语考试。

2011年12月硕士学位英语考试口试topics
1. Some people live to work; some work to live; some work to achieve a sense of self-satisfaction. What’s your attitude towards jobs? Why?

Recently, there was a piece of news that a college teacher asked his students to write articles on paper instead of typing and printing, because the teacher believes students’ handwriting needs improving. Do you agree that handwriting is on the way out? Should schools still teach handwriting in the age of the keyboard?
9. Universities often offer students a diversity of courses and lectures. As students, besides your major courses, what kind of courses and lectures are you interested in? Why?
10. With the rapid pace of life, many people are facing health problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, insomnia, etc. What are your tips to keep fit? Support your ideas.
