关于2013年1月组织学术型硕士研究生学位英语考试的通知
各学院:
经研究决定,我校将在2013年1月举行硕士学位英语考试,现将有关事项通知如下:
一、考试对象
2010级和2011级全日制学术型硕士研究生未通过硕士学位英语考试者。
二、考试时间
2013年1月11日(周五),上午笔试,下午口试。
考试安排和地点考前另行通知。
三、考试形式
1、考试形式:笔试(占85%)和口试(占15%)
2、考试题型
笔试:听力(20%)、阅读理解(20%)、翻译(20%)、写作(25%)
口试:题目以涉及社会、文化、历史、经济、生活等有关的话题。每组口试题为10个,口试topics考前一个月下发给考生准备,口试时由每组考生随机抽取1个topic,考试以5人为一组的小组讨论方式进行,考生自由发言,最后,每位考生用1分钟时间总结自己的观点。考官根据考生小组讨论中的表现评分,考生不能背诵课文式的发表观点,每组考生考试时间在15—20分钟。口试topics附后。
四、报名程序
未通过学位英语考试的研究生填写《2013年1月硕士学位英语考试报名表》(此表可在研究生院网站下载或向所在学院领取),请于12月25日之前将报名表交到研究生院培养办,逾期不候。
五、有关事项
1、请各学院及时把本通知传达到相关研究生,以免错过考试机会。
2、请报名参加考试的研究生认真复习,努力备考,争取顺利通过硕士学位英语考试。
3、2012级学术型硕士研究生不能参加本次考试,修完英语课程学分(一年)后于2013年6月参加学位英语考试。

2013年1月硕士学位英语考试口试topics

6. Can you give some examples of marriage across nations in china? List the advantages and disadvantage of marriage across nations.
7. Do you think it is possible to make the relationship between doctors and patients harmonious? What is your opinion? What do you think we should do?
8. What is the most important decision that you've made in your life. Include reasons and examples to support your response.
9. Can you list some social issues, for example, smoking in public places or drunk driving? Which one do you think is the most urgent one waiting for us to solve? Why? What should the government do about it? And what should we do about it?
10. Do you think people should always be honest and never tell a lie? In what cases should we tell a white lie? Give the reasons.
